Iron Heart Cowhide Plate Buckle Belt

Another really nice leather belt from Iron Heart. You've got to check out the full description on Iron Heart but I'll point out some of the details.

The buckle is hand made from pewter and the belt is vegetable tanned prime US cow hide. It comes in black and tan. Here are some of the pictures from the Iron Heart site:

Pretty awesome. This one is a monster.

Iron Heart Garrison Belt

The full name for this belt is actually the Garrison Buckled Super Heavy Duty Cowhide Belt IHB-02. The leather is the same as the Iron Heart belt I posted earlier (4.5mm thick). You can see the details and more pictures on the Iron Heart site. The buckle is made of brass but is nickel plated.

One of the nice things about this belt is that you can take the buckle apart. This makes it possible to cut the belt to the perfect length. Here is a sample of the pictures from Iron Heart:

Strike Gold leather belts at Self Edge

Self Edge is carrying a new clothing brand from Japan called Strike Gold. The collection includes two heavy duty leather belts, a black one and a tan one. The buckle is solid brass and the cowhide leather is 4mm THICK (check out the pictures).  It looks like it would last forever. From the details page:
A classic belt design made in a hand cut leather which is sure to age and darken with wear with a solid brass buckle.
Check out the black one or the tan one on Self Edge for more details and all the pictures. Here are some pictures to give you an idea of what they look like:

Iron Heart Belts

I'll start off with one of my favorite leather belts. This is the one I own right now. I've been wearing it for almost two years now. The leather is nice and thick and the buckle is solid brass. This is definitely a heavy duty belt. When I got it I emailed Iron Heart about how to take care of the it and they responded that I should give it some leather food once a month. I've been using Chelsea Leather Food about once every two months and the belt looks great. I hope to keep it for many years, at least 10 or 20 more.

The cowhide leather is about 4.5mm inches thick and is about 1.5 inches wide. It looks really good with jeans. It comes in brown and black.

You can see the belt on the Iron Heart site. This is a picture of it (there are more on the site):

Self Edge also has the belt along with a nice picture:
